Derek has been performing with Yuk Yuk’s as a comedian since 1994 and has been working at head office for the past 5 years. Derek took a bit of a twisted route to get where he is. Having completed the C.A. Program at McGill, Derek realized accounting wasn’t as exciting as it sounds and, inspired by George Carlin and Steve Martin, he turned to comedy. In 2006, with his touring years behind him, high-lighted by Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival appearances, Derek accepted the challenge of becoming a talent agent. Now the National Sales Director, Derek oversees a dedicated team of agents who will do all they can to help make your event a huge success!

Derek continues to be responsible for booking shows in Ontario, including corporate and private events, fundraisers, colleges / universities, bars, resorts and hotels. The Funny Business roster includes many of the top comedians in the country, including television personalities and Canadian Comedy Award winners, and Derek will work with you to ensure you have the right comedians to make your show fun and successful for everyone involved

Howard Wagman

Corporate Talent Agent Eastern Ontario and Quebec.

Howard Wagman has close to 30 years experience as a Club Manager, Talent Developer and Booking Agent. His passion for comedy and his extensive experience in the field, both in Canada and abroad, helps to make Howard one of the most respected talent agents in the country. Howard is responsible for booking all corporate events as well as all public shows in Eastern Ontario and Quebec. Howard currently resides in Ottawa where he also manages the local Yuk Yuk's clubs, and has developed one of Canada's most successful New Talent Nights for over 25 years, with past alumni including Norm MacDonald, Jeremy Hotz and Jon Dore.

Tony Krolo

Booking Agent for Corporate Events - Ontario and Canadian Comedy Festivals

Tony Krolo was born in Montreal but moved to Oakville 2 years later for political reasons when he refused to change his name to Antoine.  He is a graduate of Sheridan College Advertising and Business Programs and has worked as a Salesman at Records  On Wheels, Big Steel Man and Swift Sure Courier, all three of which went bankrupt shortly after he left. He has also worked as a Writer in the Advertising Departments  of Vickers and Benson and the Town of Oakville. In 1987 he disappeared, replaced by a different Tony Krolo who toured Canada, The U.S and United Kingdom as a Stand-Up Comic for 23 years only to return and, because of the laws of physics, inhabit the body of the original Tony Krolo. Together, he is now the Corporate Yuk Yuks and Funny Business Agent and Club Comic Extrordinaire.

Kelly D'Amour

Booking Agent for BC, Alberta, Manitoba and the Territories

Kelly is one of the corporate and On Tour agents for Western Canada working out of the Calgary office.  She is the booking agent for Yuk Yuk’s On Tour Shows and private corporate shows in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and The Territories. Kelly is the office manager for the western office and she thinks she's funny too!

Kathleen O'Brien

Booking Agent for Comedy Now and Northern Ontario

Kathleen joined Funny Business Inc after having worked in the Ottawa Yuk Yuk's club as assistant manager  for three years. Her knowledge of the comedians allowed her to effortlessly make the transition into her current position as booking agent for Northern Ontario, The Debators and Comedy Now Specials.

Beth Fraser

Booking Agent for Colleges & Universities

The Cinderella story of Yuk Yuk's, Beth is a saucy monkey who has weasled her way back into the Yuk Yuk's office, winning the hearts of those around her. She's been rocking in the free world since 1983 and has been kicking ass and taking names around Yuk's since 2005. 34-26-36... She also has a sense of humour.

Beth first joined the Funny Business team in 2006 assisting the agents for 2 years before deciding to go back to school. In 2009 she was on the work market again, and she realized just how much she missed the comedy lifestyle. Luckily she was invited back onto the Funny Business team to assist the agents once again.

In 2010, Beth took on the daunting task of booking the Yuk Yuk's Clubs across Canada.

Now, Beth's journey takes a new turn as she has taken over the bookings of the Colleges and Universities and the COCA portfolio. Are you looking for a hilarious and fun comedy show at your campus? Beth will be happy to put together the perfect show for your school.

Tracey Comeau

Booking Agent for Atlantic Canada

Teacher by day…comedy agent by night!  Tracey joined the Yuk Yuk’s team as a club co-manager in 2007 when she had nothing better to do on her summer vacation.  She enjoyed the laughs so much, that she climbed the Funny Business ladder and became Atlantic Canada’s booking agent in March, 2010.

Joe Williams

Booking Agent For Saskatchewan

Joe began his career with Yuk Yuk's working in the box office of the Calgary Club at the impressionable age of 18. Joe's dedication and hard work were rewarded with promotions to Office Manager, Controller, Club Manager and eventually General Manager. In 2008, Joe moved his family to Saskatchewan to work with the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority. At SIGA he worked with the Entertainment Coordinator booking bands and comedy shows into six Saskatchewan based casinos. Joe has now returned to the Funny Business' family and as our new Booking Agent for Saskatchewan, he is responsible for all Yuk Yuk's On Tour shows and Yuk Yuk's Corporate shows in the province.
