Chris Locke is a stand up comedian, actor, and writer from Toronto, Canada. NOW magazine has called him "Best stand up of 2012." He has been performing his own distinct brand of stand up, sketch, and improv since 2000. Chris performs stand up all over Canada and the U.S. in comedy clubs and independent shows. Chris has performed at many festivals, most notably Just For Laughs, San Francisco Sketchfest for Rooftop Comedy, The Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, The Ottawa Comedy Explosion, and NXNE in Toronto. With his fun and unique style of comedy he has opened for Todd Barry, Hannibal Buress, Pete Holmes, Todd Glass, Neal Brennan, and toured with Kyle Kinane. His stand up has also been featured on Sirius/XM radio's Laugh Attack. From 2005 - 2011 Chris was the host and co-writer of; Let's Get Hot, with Chris Locke and Aaron Eves, a monthly comedy show put on by Laugh Sabbath at the Rivoli in Toronto.
In sketch Chris and his two-man troupe, The Gurg (Chris & Brian Barlow), were nominated for the prestigious Tim Sims Encouragement Fund in 2003, and performed on The Toronto Show. In improv from 2001-2003 Chris practiced and performed improv at the Tim Sims playhouse at Second City, Toronto.

Chris has also written and performed in countless comedy shorts. They have been screened at Just For Laughs, TIFF, NFB's World of Shorts, and at live shows. His "These Moments Too" series which he co-produced with Nathan Fielder was listed as a best of 2006 pick in NOW magazine.
His success in comedy shorts has lead him to an annual hosting and curating gig for CFC's WSFF (Worldwide Short Film Festival) and their independent comedy night, For Shorts & Giggles: http://worldwideshortfilmfest.com/films/program/shorts-giggles-indie-comedy-showcase/.
Chris has appeared on many television shows and is most recognized for his appearances on Scare Tactics on Much Music, Cock'd Gunns on Showcase, The Jon Dore Television Show, The Cream of Comedy on The Comedy Network, and has lent his distinct voice to CBC’s Radio One.
