Where does Kate Davis get the time? Actually, this is the only time alone she does get - on stage, away from her vida loca as a mother of three.



Kate's candid, clever and quick lines push the envelope of being a comedienne. From children to being a woman in the 21^st century, her act is full of observations with a twist.



Kate has her hour long comedy special “Comedy Now” for CTV and the Comedy Network She was nominated for the 2002 Canadian Comedy Awards as Funniest Female Stand–Up. Kate was also the opening act for Puppetry of the Penis in various cities across Canada. You can also find her on TVO’s Planet Parent doing what she does best, ranting about her kids She appeared on WTN's "She's So Funny", Prime's "Grumps" and CBC Radio One.



A classically trained actress, Kate had a full season in Toronto's Theatre Plus. From there, it was time to play a stripping nun in "A Bed Full of Foreigners" and next displaying her vast diversity in "The Diary of Anne Frank".



Now she's been terminally bitten by the need to make you laugh. And if you've got three kids, you probably understand why.

I just wanted to thank you for the great humour you brought to our 

CRA Women's advisory committee session at the Crowne Plaza hotel in 

Ottawa yesterday.  You made my week!  I haven't laughed like that in 

so long, I think I may have made a mommy breakthrough.



I went home last night determined not to be crazy stressed out mommy 

but funny quirky mommy and had a wonderful time with my 2 girls, 

ages 4 and 5.  We actually got them to bed without my usual lullaby 

(which I was amazed you knew. I thought it was an Elizabeth 

original!).  Anyway, keep up the good work and I hope to come see 

you the next time you are in O-town at Yuk-Yuks.  Is there a 

notification that I can sign up to receive when you'll be in town?  

I am part of a mommy's group in the east end with about 25 stressed 

out moms and we have a monthly get together to get the stress out.  

Coming to see you would be on the top of my recommendations for this
