Born and raised in Guelph, Ontario into a musical family, Singer/Songwriter Lynzie Kent began singing at age 5 and then professionally with her parents' band at age 16. She began writing her own original music at 18 and released her first original album "Find the Words" in September 2008. Lynzie is the former lead singer of Juno-Nominated God Made Me Funky and a graduate of Randolph's Academy's Triple Threat College Program for Voice, Dance and Theatre. She has appeared on Breakfast TV, Canada AM, Etalk, ET Canada and Buddies on the Vine and has headlined The Montreal Jazz Festival, NXNE and Mipoint Music Festival.
She has toured North America and her original music has been heard on over 40 radio stations nation wide including her Christmas single "Mrs. Claus Laments" and her most recent single "New Red Shoes". Recently Lynzie was honored as a YWCA Young Woman of Distinction Nominee for her accomplishments in music and charity work through music. In 2009 Lynzie started her own entertainment company Electric Blonde Entertainment. Today, you can see Lynzie performing with popular wedding/corporate band Lady Kane and vintage girl group The Blonde Moments. She is also touring to promote her album "Find the Words".
If you’re looking for a full band we also offer comedy and Lady Kane for a four hour call and this will include 3x50min sets of Dance music. This can be extended and the band provides own PA and sound.
